God's Love...

Brings us to repentance.

It draws us to the thoughts that question:

was the sin that I've committed WORTH the value of the LOVE that we've hurt.

We sin against God and God only.

If sin draws us away from God and it displeases Him. God who loves us SO much He swore on Himself for our sakes. God who gave up and sacrificed His Son (Christ) to save us.

If you really weigh it, was it worth the cost of what you gave up?

Was is worth the CHOICE you made against God- Your Heavenly Father? He who loves you so much, He'd turn the world over just FOR YOU.

Was it worth it, to slap the hand of the God who saves you daily? Who protects you daily, not just from the things you see, but the unseen. You know, like that car that almost hit you? You know that “if you hadn't made it to the hospital on time...” or the or when you unexpectedly run out of medicine and God KEEPS you and makes a way for you to get more.

Once, I was thinking about sinning and the Holy Spirit asked me, “Marissa, is it worth it? Count the cost. Is it worth it, to lose something after all you went through, after the sacrifice you made to get it and if you do this...is . it. Worth. It?

Most times we don't really know the cost of the thing we made be sacrificing when we sin.

That's why there's the scripture, “Obedience is better than sacrifice.”

At all times, count the cost.
